IRASCOM Co-op (The InIversal RasTafarI Community Cooperative) was birthed as an organization geared towards the development of the "Inified Sovereign Nation of RasTafarI" the economic and social development of our people, the re-education of Rastas and the public, Repatriation and Reparations and the academic and technical progression of our people. When this organization was birthed, it was not intended for Rastafari debate, doctrinal discussions or simply to feed the interest and curiosity of non-Rastas. Yet from time to time, we may see such in our midst. IRASCOM will not define doctrine or personal characteristics of RasTafarI, but rather we seek to focus on those things and only those things that unite us all, regardless or race, tribe, culture, house, sect, or faith. For in reality, the essence of it all is LOVE and JAH is LOVE. This organization was birthed as a central point of pure truthful information, international communications and to organize and facilitate the efforts and projects of IRASCOM Inc. Its BECAUSE of our purpose, that we have attracted most of the most "conscious, serious-minded, cultural, spiritual, educated and self-taught" Rastafarians from AROUND THE WORLD....Rastas who are not concerned with idle talks and petty debates, but progression, upward and forward actions. Many Rastas find IRASCOM to be "A Breath of Fresh Air" as Jamaican Elders called it, and a haven away from the unproductive online Rasta forums.

Chapter I

DECLARATION

We the Citizens of The InIversal RasTafarI Community (IRASCOM), being mindful of our common bonds as seekers of Truth, Overstanding, Knowledge and Wisdom: hereby declare without inhibition, our dedication to the cause of uniting all RasTafarIs, regardless of House, Sect or Tribe, into the common, progressive and positive community that we were destined to become.

We, as the children of Almighty God, follower of teachings of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, and the descendants of Mother Africa, recognize the importance of this organization and it responsibility to all RasTafarIs. We Stand Inited, in the prayer that this movement shall be a glorious beacon in the eyes of Jah; a brilliant example to African descendants and that we shall remain an organization avowed not only to the cause of Inity amongst Rastas, but to the promotion of peace, love, hope, integrity and the spreading of the teachings of Jah.

We stand in prayer that this movement of RasTafarIs can provide and effective voice for all its members, regardless of House, Tribe, Social, political or other persuasion. In full, our most worthy cause is the unification of the powerful voices and works of RasTafarIs, the exodus of western, Caribbean and any other descendants of African from the African Diaspora, the strengthening of existing bonds, the building of new ones and the representation of RasTafarIs in the Global Community.

Founder's Notes

InI arise in these times, as IRASCOM “The InIversal RasTafarI Community Cooperative” an organization formed for those serious minded Rasses and Empresses who are determined to see progression through cooperation within the Rastafari Movement. The primary objective of IRASCOM along with many other initiatives is to assist I the creation of universal agreements and codes of RasTafarI people that can be endorsed and embraced by all Mansions, Houses, Organizations and sub-bodies of Rastafari. The InIversal RasTafarI Agreement (IRA) will call for the unification of all InI houses and sects of RasTafarI into a cooperative body and not into a single mansion as some other organizations have attempted to achieve. Jah word teaches s that “in my father’s house are many mansions”. We are looking volunteers of all the major sects to join our body so that we can begin discussions that will allow us to represent the causes of all citizens of The Iniversal RasTafarI Community.

Part of our vision is to share the organization worldwide by establishing our various branches in different regions. To achieve this, we have organized ourselves into an Interim Steering Committee or Executives and officials who will oversee the complete operation and administration of IRASCOM Cooperative until 2008 or until such time has come that the organization is fully functioning with the proper officials and international administrators appointed. Our responsibility is to locate and appoint responsible and influential Rastas to key areas within the organization, thus dissolving the jurisdiction of the Interim Steering Committee. Feel free to send us your nominations for any area or office of administration or individual to fill such a position.

We also ask that one and ones to be respectful of the information presented on this website, and that no duplications be made thereof. IRASCOM has consultant with an attorneys and copyrighted our material and we would be grateful for Jah people to bear with us until this information becomes the property of all Rastafari People.
